The 8th IKI India Community Exchange will take place on 23 April 2026 in New Delhi at the Indian Habitat Centre. Hosted by TERI and GIZ India, the exchange will bring together representatives from across the IKI Indiacommunity to share updates, discuss recent policy developments, and strengthen coordination and knowledge exchange within the IKI India community.

The session will include general updates from the IKI and IKI India. In addition, recent developments in India’s climate policy landscape will be discussed, including updates on India’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), as well as NITI Aayog's pathways toward Viksit Bharat and India’s long-term net-zero transition, highlighting key sectoral transformations and strategic priorities. The exchange will further explore developments related to Article 6 of the Paris Agreement in the Indian context.
