About IKI India

Bilateral cooperation under the IKI between the Republic of India and Germany started in 2008. India is one of the priority countries with which the IKI maintains a particularly close cooperation.

In India, the interface function is currently implemented by the Indo-German Support Project for Climate Action in India in cooperation with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). Alongside its own country-specific project commission, the interface project is tasked with maintaining close contact with environment and climate ministries as well as with other relevant ministries. Beyond this, the interface project also promotes networking and synergies among all of the IKI projects in the country.
