Description

The Ministry of Power reported that 2,669 MW of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and 7,426 MW of Pumped Storage Projects (PSPs) have been commissioned. The storage systems will help store surplus solar power during the day and supply electricity during non-solar hours, supporting grid stability and reliable power supply.
